The Wheatgrass Juicer

Since these high-quality juicers are plated cast-iron, and quite heavy, we deliver the juicer by hand with your first order, rather than shipping it. We have sold hundreds of these over the past 10 years, with many satisfied customers.

Order a juicer so you can experience the benefits of wheatgrass juice every day in your own home. Call Brian at 323-5367 to begin now!

Using your juicer

To start, tighten the adjustment screw at the end of the housing down 1/2 way. To use, cut a swath of wheatgrass from your tray as close to the dirt as possible. Grab a bunch of grass about the size of a quarter in circumference, and push the ends deeply into the crankshaft with one hand, while cranking the handle clockwise with the other hand. This should easily catch your grass and begin to squeeze the juice. Do not be afraid to aggressively stuff the grass into the housing. Remember, you control the crank, and will not hurt your own fingers. After you have fed two or three bunches of grass into your juicer, you will notice it will become more difficult to crank. At this time, your initial bunches are sufficiently pressed, and you need to back off the adjustment screw completely open to allow the pulp to come out. Continue feeding bunches through your juicer until you obtain the amount of juice you want. To obtain an additional 10-15% more juice, you can crank the pulp back through your juicer one more time to get every last nutritious drop.

Cleaning your juicer

To clean, simply unscrew the two retaining screws holding the crank in place, remove the crank and screen (always use the bigger screen--it creates less foam) from the housing, and wash in hot, soapy water along with the body of the juicer. Periodically, put a few drops of vegetable oil on the screws.
